HENRY PYE

Co-owner and Physiotherapist

Henry grew up in the Northern Rivers on a sugar cane farm just outside of Coraki.

​

Henry has completed both a Bachelor of Exercise Science Clinical Practice at Victoria University & Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Since graduating Henry has worked in private practices and sports clinics both locally and in Sydney. He previously worked full time as a Physiotherapist for the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL and you may have even seen him running around on the TV supporting players. He has also worked with the Maltese Rugby league team during Australian matches, Eastern Suburbs & West Harbour Rugby Clubs and Sydney Olympic Soccer Teams.

​

Henry prides himself on diagnostic accuracy, planned treatment strategies and patient centred care. His extensive high level sports physio involvement has helped him develop fast, effective and team based approach to treatment.

​

Outside of work Henry is a proud father of two, you might catch him on the golf course, training for triathlons, mowing his (immaculate) lawn or having a beer with friends.

MATTHEW LEAN

Co-owner and Physiotherapist

Matt graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University. Since then he has worked in a lot of different physiotherapy roles in Australia and in the UK. He has a very keen interest in orthopaedic surgery, sports and musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain states, complex conditions/presentations and their management. 

​

Matt prides himself on getting an accurate diagnosis, developing a comprehensive treatment plan and progressing towards your specific treatment goals.

​

When seeing Matt there is a combined treatment focus of hands-on and exercise based therapy, but also a thorough explanation of why, what, how and when.

​

Matt has extra training in Clinical Pilates, Sport Physiotherapy, post-operative orthopaedic management, neck related headaches, vertigo, waterproof casting, complex shoulder conditions and managing chronic pain.

Outside of work Matt enjoys all sports (master of none), travel and outdoor adventures.

GABBY BOYCE

Manual therapy; soft tissue therapy; Pilates; sports strapping & sports injuries treatment and rehabilitation; manual therapy; soft tissue therapy; muscle energy techniques; rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery; application of casts for fractures; balance & strengthen classes for seniors; lymphoedema therapist.

JACOB FOLLENT

Physiotherapist

Jacob Graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and returned to Lismore to begin working at Goonellabah Physiotherapy Centre. 

 

Jacob Combines hands on treatment with exercise prescription to assist you in managing your injuries. Areas that Jacob has a special interest in are lower back pain and shoulder injuries. Jacob has loved being a part of the Lismore and Goonellabah communities and an enjoyable aspect of his work is the stories that come with the individuals that he gets to work with. 

 

 Jacob’s Commitment to ongoing learning and staying up to date with the best current Physiotherapy practice is exemplified by completing many courses during his 5 years of practice. He has completed the following course

 

  • The shoulder Physio ( Jared Powell) online Course (2020) 

  • Simplifying the complex shoulder course (2021) 

  • Dry needling for physiotherapists (2021) 

  •  Running repairs -Tom Groom (2023)

  • Level 1 ASCA accreditation (2022) 

  •  Level 1 rehabilitation coach (2024)

 

 

Outside of work Jacob enjoys travelling with his wife, playing golf with his mates and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
